Laser Dentistry |
Dr. McAnthony and staff are committed to our 'Mission Statement' and in keeping with that we are excited to
introduce the Waterlase Dental Laser from Biolase.
This dental laser can replace the drill in most dental procedures.
Advantages to using the Waterlase® Dental Laser
- Comfort
- Heat, vibration and pressure are the primary causes of pain associated with use of the traditional drill.
- Accuracy and Precision
- Removes tooth enamel decay, bone, and gum tissue with pinpoint accuracy.
- Reduced Trauma
- The gentle action of the Waterlase laser reduces damage to healthy portions of the tooth, minimizing
trauma to affected tooth and/or surrounding areas.
- Less Bleeding and Swelling
- Due to it's gentle cutting action and coagulating capabilities the Waterlase laser performs many procedures
on gums and other soft tissues with little or no bleeding and less post-operative swelling.
- Fewer Dental Visits
- Since you may not need local anesthesia, Dr. Mac may be able to perform cavity preparations in several
areas of your mouth in one visit, rather than requiring multiple visits.
- Previous procedures that required
a specialist, can now be performed by Dr.Mac.
- Versatility
- The Waterlase laser is now FDA cleared to perform over 60 types of procedures on teeth, gums and bone.
Please call or contact our office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Mac, to see if the
Waterlase Dental laser is right for your child.
